OPTHA AWARD DIVISIONS

Pinto Class Divisions: 

Open - for those of all ages, professional and non-professional. Award will be based on the horse.

Amateur - for the adults 19 and over who are non paid exhibitors -

meaning that they can not be trainers or receive remuneration for exhibiting or training horses.

There are also novice and age subdivisions within the amateur division.

Awards based on exhibitor/horse combination.

Youth - for those 18 and under. There are also novice and age subdivisions with the youth division.

Awards based on exhibitor/horse combination.

   ~ Youth 11 & UNDER WALK/TROT DIVISION

OPEN ALL BREED Class Divisions: 

The showbill will offer many classes for those that do not have a pinto but would like to come and show with our club.

We are happy to offer these classes and invite you to come and join us!

Open All Breed Adult - This division is for adult riders on horses of any color, any breed, registered or not registered.

Open All Breed Youth - This division is for youth 18 & under riders on horses of any color, any breed, registered or not registered.

OK Pinto 2012 Award information:

 2012 DIVISIONS – Year End & Show High Point:

1) YA Walk/Trot 11&U Pinto       2) YA 13 & Under Pinto  3) YA 18 & Under Pinto  4) Youth All Breed

5) Novice Amateur Pinto            6) Amateur Pinto           7) Open Pinto                8) Adult All Breed

Show High Point Award Criteria:

1. You must sign up for the division in the office before each show.

2. You must enter a minimum of 3 classes in that division.

3. Must be an OPtHA member before points are awarded.

4. Yth & Amateur points are calculated on exhibitor/horse combination. Open is based on the horse.

Division Year End Award:

1. Must be an OPtHA member before points are awarded.

2. Yth & Amateur points are calculated on exhibitor/horse combination. Open is based on the horse.

3. Must show in a minimum at 3 shows.

4. Must show at the OPtHA show at the Tulsa State Fair. (Excludes All Breed divisions)

5. Points from each class within each division will be used to determine overall winners

6. Tulsa State Fair show points will be DOUBLE POINTS.

7. For High Point divisions, you must show in at least 3 classes in the division per show.

Class High Point Year End Award:

1. Must be an OPtHA Member before points are awarded.

2. Yth & Amateur classes are calculated on exhibitor/horse combination. Open is based on the horse.

3. Must show in a minimum of 3 shows in the class.

4. Must show in the class at the Tulsa State Fair, if offered. (Excludes All breed divisions)

5. Futurity classes do not count toward year end class awards.

* All club points will be calculated as shown in the chart.

** A tie breaker judge will be designated at each show.

*** In case of a tie, the tie breaker will be determined by: Most classes entered 2) Most 1^st places 3) Most 1^st & 2^nd places
