Memberships

Your 2010 membership is due. Show points start upon payment of membership.

To show in our futurities, both the owner & exhibitor must be a current member of Oklahoma Pinto.           

Reminder:  Be ready for this coming show season - pay your national membership early.

 

First 2010 Show is April 10th-11th

Make plans to attend our first show of  the season.  Fuzzy or not, it’s time to get those horses out and start gathering your points, both National and Oklahoma Pinto for year end awards. The updated 2010 showbill will be posted online soon. We have added All Breed classes, so whether you show a Pinto horse or not, there should be a class for everyone to show with us.

Enter your horses on Friday night of the show between 6 pm - 8 pm and you will be entered in a drawing for a free stall. This is open to anyone showing a horse and it is one entry per horse. Drawing will be on Saturday by our announcer.

Please note: The Office will be locked at 8 pm  to prepare for the Saturday morning show.

 

REGISTER YOUR PINTO!!

There is a National Pinto Representative here locally that is available to register your horse with the PINTO HORSE ASSOCIATION. This representative will be happy to complete the registration for you at the Oklahoma Pinto shows. If you would like to sponsor a class or  two this year, the cost is 25.00 and you or your company will be announced at every show. You will also be listed in our Newsletter, as well as listed in our upcoming OPtHA Directory. Just send your check and information to:

Affordable Advertising

We also invite you to use our newsletter for things you have for sale. We have a wide circulation for our newsletter and could be used to your advantage. Send information to the editor:

We also offer at $5.00 per insert, to put your items on the web-site. If photos are included the cost is $10.00 and will be advertised for 3 months. We are getting a lot of hits on our website, so don't miss out, get listed on our site.

 

Photo Time

It may be early to think of next years Magazine Cover, but you may be able to get some of the best photo’s at the shows. So come with your camera in hand and start snapping. So you will have a photo to enter into the photo contest for the Magazine Cover.  There are three category’s: Adult, Youth, and Amateur.  Picture can be anything horse related.

 

Oklahoma Pinto Magazine

Need to advertise your Pinto stallion or ranch? Want to wish a rider good luck? Consider purchasing an advertisement in the Oklahoma Pinto Magazine. This year, we will be offering a wide range of advertisements at different price levels so that anyone can purchase an advertisement. The cover will be printed in color, but the inside will be black and white.

All proceeds outside the cost of printing will be added to the money for the Tri-Color Futurity.  Please think about placing an ad to help us keep up the magazine and make the futurity bigger and better!

If you have business contacts or would like to sell some advertising for the magazine, please contact me and I will e-mail you a contract for businesses. You must collect payment upon sell of the advertisement.

We would appreciate all the Members help in acquiring new ads for the Magazine.

Youth Sponsorship Program

Oklahoma Pinto Horse Association (OPtHA) is looking for sponsors to assist their youth organization by making it more affordable so their families can keep them showing.  The OPtHA is a non-profit organization and our Certificate of Incorporation for Non-Profit Number is 904480001.  The funds would be used for the scholarship fund and to assist all youth 18 and under to have free stalls at the club shows.  OPtHA is all about family and it is so important that we help all the youth who want to participate in a more affordable manner.  This environment teaches the youth to work hard to succeed while they learn sportsmanship, integrity, and individual accomplishments. 

This proposal is a three year program.   We are trying to raise $25,000.  This would allow 2 scholarships a year for $1,000 each for 3 years for a total of $6,000.  The balance will pay for 760 stalls for the youth over a 3 year period.  OPtHA has 5 shows a year and the plan is broken down as: First Year use 150 stalls, Second Year use 250 stalls, Third Year use 375 stalls, for a total of 775 stalls.

Any balance remaining each year will be put into a Certificate Of Deposit until the next year.

Sponsorship Levels:

$1,000 = Announced at each show, business card ad in club newsletter and the Yearly magazine.

$2,000 = Announced at each show, 1/4 page ad in club newsletter and the Yearly magazine.

$3,000 = Announced at each show, 1/2 page ad in club newsletter and the Yearly magazine.

$4,000 = Announced at each show, 1/2 page ad in club newsletter and the Yearly magazine.

$5,000 = Announced at each show, 1 page ad in club newsletter and the Yearly magazine.

$10,000 = Announced at each show, 1 page ad in club newsletter and the back cover of the Yearly magazine.

$25,000 = Announced at each show, 1 page ad in club newsletter, inside cover of the Yearly magazine, & a banner displayed at all shows.
